Our industry-leading insurance client is looking for an experienced developer who will create and maintain reliable and reusable UI components and patterns. You will be accompanying UX researchers, and UX designers to maximize the added value for end users as well as the product development teams. You will be working with other product development teams to help them leverage the Design System.
The System Development team builds the design system, design system tools used to deliver consistent, accessible, and cohesive experiences in their platform, client portal, and home office experiences. On this team, you can expect to work on high-value, high-visibility projects that empower the rest of our engineering teams to ship more efficiently, with more consistent, accessible, and responsive products.

Responsibilities:Contribute to the constellation of libraries, tools, and artifacts that comprise the Resilience Design SystemCollaborate with visual designers to create, document, and express composable UI elements in a number of environments (Figma, HTML/CSS, React, mobile native) leveraging system foundations and patternsMaintain and create CI/CD pipelines and build scripting we use to publish and deploy our toolingWrite visual-regression, unit, and integration tests to ensure system stabilityDocument and evangelize best practices for markup semantics, accessibility, responsiveness, React architecture, and general Resilience Design System component usageProvide support to Resilience Design System-consuming engineering teamsPartner with external teams to create shared tools and library integrationsCreate and perform code reviews & API proposals for your peers

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
