We're hiring an entrepreneurial Senior Creative Content Manager to lead the in-house planning, production, editing, and curation of branded digital content across various platforms! This pivotal new role blends a nose for news with creative direction, strong technical and production expertise, social media savvy, and strategic communications.
Reporting to the VP of Communications, the ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, capable of story mining and collaboration with scientists across our organization. Responsibilities
- Establish and pilot a content creation program in our new content studio.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio, including equipment maintenance, team member training, and video production & editing.
- Build and maintain a Digital Asset Management system, ensuring content labeling accuracy and appropriate accessibility across teams.
- Analyze content performance metrics and audience feedback to continuously improve content strategy and delivery.
- Project management and collaboration with internal partners to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure seamless integration across channels.
- Stay current with emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously enhance our content and distribution strategies and capabilities.
- Work closely with the Communications Manager and the Internal Communications Lead to support the publication and maintenance of digital content across various channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and relevance of content to engage target audiences.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in related positions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
- Deep technical expertise in video production, editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro), CMS platforms, and digital asset management.
- Ability to operate video cameras, manage wireless microphones, and operate a video switching system and sound board.
- Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with digital analytics tools and audience engagement metrics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and manage cross-functional relationships.
