Operating for 40+ years, Public Market Emeryville is a beloved food hall and retail property offering a diverse mix of regional food and beverage concepts. We are seeking a Community Marketing and Leasing Specialist to join the dynamic team working to evolve this local project into a future-proofed, nationally-known destination.
The Community Marketing and Leasing Specialist will be the face of the Public Market. This new hire will be the point of contact for all Marketing and Leasing of the Public Market, including responsible for supporting brand strategy, helping to implement omni-channel marketing efforts; recruiting new tenants, managing leasing operations, ensuring great experiences for new and existing occupiers; and building and fostering relationships, maintaining the property as a center for the neighborhood and community.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in both marketing and leasing, possess excellent communication skills, and have a creative passion for unique food and community experiences.
Responsibilities :Working in partnership with property marketing and media relations agencies, develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new customersOversee leasing operations, including contract negotiations, tenant relations, and lease administrationSource new concepts for the Market and manage operations of current tenants operating within the Market.Lead on the planning and execution of community events, building relationships with vendors; activating occupiers; and evolving plans to continually grow traffic and increase salesDevelop and enhance a strong rapport with food vendors and other retailers through frequent in-person contact, encouraging and supporting promotional activities and enabling new market experiencesMonitor market trends and competitor activities and devise and coordinate related marketing and leasing strategic evolutions.Work closely with the management team to achieve business goals and objectivesBuild, maintain, and deliver on a database of prospective and current occupiers, improving the leasing lifecycle and occupancy rates at the propertyQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.4+ years of proven experience in marketing and leasing.Passionate about restaurants, retail and events.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Understanding of general leasing fundamentals. Including lease terms, LOIs and lease documents.Entrepreneurial mindset.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Property management software and marketing tool experience a plus.A creative spark for food, community, and customer service.What we are offering:

As required by California state and local law, OMERS & Oxford provides base salary ranges for all roles that are externally or internally advertised in California. The base salary that is ultimately offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill set.For California only, the annualized base salary range for employees who can or will physically perform this role in California, either in whole or in part, or will otherwise report to a supervisor, office or other worksite in California is expected to be between $80,000 and $115,000. You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award which includes Short-term Incentive and Long-Term Incentive, benefits, pension - details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
