The Opportunity:As an instructional designer, you will manage the design and development of classroom and te chn ology-based training courses. You'll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. You will develop or contribute to solutions fora variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. You'll work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.On our team, you'll work with SMEs, instructors, or product designers to capture your customer's training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission or goals. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you'll design synchronous and asynchronous material, or performance support tools. You'll build training material with multimedia spe cia lists, graphic artists, or instructors following the ADDIE model.You'll use your te chn ical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an e nga ging, interactive learning experience on screen or in a classroom. You'll recommend cutting-edge multimedia te chn ologies and strategies, including blended learning, or gamification to build a successful learning environment. You know communication is key, so you'll meet with SMEs, instructors, or product designers throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you'll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your training for maximum impact. You'll be able to hone your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. Experience with designing and developing instructional materials and training courses for adult learners and revising instructor-led training courses for virtual and classroom training delivery*
Experience with designing, developing, and revising web-based training courses using various eLearning authoring tools such as Storyline or Lectora.*
Experience with developing instructor materials, including course outlines, background material, and training aids*
Experience with developing student materials, including course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course evaluation forms*
Experience in working with te chn ical subject matter experts*
Knowledge of ADDIE and instructional design and development frameworks*
Ability to develop courses and instructional material to educate te chn ical and non-te chn ical personnel*
Ability to prepare student materials, including course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course evaluation forms*
Ability to provide standards, services, and guidance on training programs*

The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD).
