What You Will Be Doing

As a Tech Data Author on the F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) team at Lockheed Martin, you will develop and maintain critical maintenance and troubleshooting publications that support the readiness and sustainment of the F-35 fleet. What You Will Be Doing

As a Tech Data Author on the F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) team at Lockheed Martin, you will develop and maintain critical maintenance and troubleshooting publications that support the readiness and sustainment of the F-35 fleet. In this role, you’ll serve as an Anomaly and Failure Resolution System (AFRS) Author, using your knowledge of aircraft systems to create clear, accurate technical documentation that directly supports global fleet operations and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, validate, and maintain organizational-level maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for the F-35 aircraft.
• Serve as an Anomaly and Failure Resolution System (AFRS) Author to support global sustainment and maintenance operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier documentation to generate accurate technical content.
• Utilize authoring systems and desktop publishing tools to create and update technical publications in accordance with program standards.
• Ensure technical content is clear, concise, and consistent with operational requirements and user needs.
• Collaborate daily with engineering teams, vendors, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather and clarify data inputs.
• Review and revise existing technical documentation based on updates to aircraft design, configuration, or feedback from maintainers.
• Support quality assurance processes to verify technical data meets program and regulatory requirements.
