We are seeking a dynamic and skilled product team member to serve as the Content Manager. This role is essential in supporting the content creation processes. This person will not be authoring the curriculum; rather, the person will have significant interaction with the Product Owner (PO) to ensure the implementation and vision of the PO are accurately reflected in our curriculum development. The majority of the time for this position will involve inputting, running, reviewing, and fixing lessons to prepare for the launch or updates of the curriculum. Additionally, the candidate will work with the PO to groom the product backlog, contributing valuable insights during product development meetings and working closely with contractors.Key Responsibilities:1. Inputting Lesson Plans: This encompasses:Editing and finalizing facilitator notes.Developing instructions for avatars in terms of speech and movement.Reviewing and selecting appropriate images.Running, reviewing, and fixing lessons as required.2. Grooming the Product Backlog: Organize and prioritize the backlog items to streamline the product development process.3. Providing Insights at Product Development Meetings: Actively participate in meetings, offering constructive feedback and innovative ideas.4. Communicating with Contractors: Liaise with contractors to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.5. Meeting with PO and Tracking Implementation: Regularly meet with the PO to track and support the implementation of the curriculum development vision.Skills and Qualifications:Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology). Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields may be preferred but not required.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in content management systems and platforms.Experience with tools such as Canva, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence, Jira, or similar content and project management tools.Basic understanding of curriculum development and instructional design.Competency in editing and reviewing educational content.Familiarity with digital media formats and image editing tools.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated and self-directed.Capable of learning and adapting to new technologies and processes quickly.Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
Experience:Minimum of 3 of experience in content management, curriculum development, or a related field.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product owners and external contractors.Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at various levels.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a similar role.Background in education or curriculum development.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Annual compensation for is estimated to be between $65,000 and $75,000 per year, subject to experience and qualifications and required taxes and withholdings.Additionally, this role will be eligible for RoboKind benefits including:Medical Contributions401(k) participationGenerous time off, including a company holiday break
