Position Overview
We are looking to fill the full-time role of Director of Branding & Programming for CHR WPUP & News/Talk WGAU and On-Air Talent. This person will maintain the consistent sound of the cluster CHR & News/Talk stations, including completing daily music logs, writing station imaging/promos, communicating with staff, and maintaining programming that integrates seamlessly with automation.
Responsibilities
- Preparing content and co-hosting a live, four-hour weekday morning show on heritage country station, WNGC.
- Voicetracking on other cluster stations will be required.
- Training in policies for posting station-related content on social media and websites will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to take feedback and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in running control boards, knowledge of radio automation systems, familiarity with music scheduling, clear speaking, proficiency in Adobe Audition/production, and strong social media skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous radio experience is preferred.
