Global Creative is the internal creative agency setting design direction and brand compliance for Johnson Controls global brand. Our mission is to be the most customer-centric collective of creative thinkers, dreamers and doers. We create beautiful visual designs, communications, on-site graphics, videos and style guides. We are responsible for the development of quality creative for the Johnson Controls master brand and work to collaborate with business partners around the world to support a wide range of content categories. We apply creative insight to delight customersdriving discovery, engagement, and trust. We're growing quickly and hiring the best. This is day one.
What you will do:
You will report to the Global Creative's Senior Video Producer and manage our video production content, supporting our global internal customers. Working within a team of graphic and motion designers, the you will need to show both understanding and ability in the creation of stunning visual content. The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology.
Creative acumen, organizational and technical skills are key in this role. A deep understanding of media and analytics relating to video and social content is essential. You must be comfortable not only creating but also publishing and managing customer engagement with the content across platforms. A passion for content marketing and social media content is vital to thrive in this role.
How you will do it:
- Ensure coordinated workflows amongst team members within the video department.
- Edit existing video and create new video content, in support of senior internal customers and their marketing objectives. An understanding of 3D production is also an advantage.
- Manage personal project workflow and provide projected delivery dates to senior clients on new projects, updating as necessary.
- Analyze project demands and coordinate multiple projects through completion on schedule.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and negotiate project scopes and budgets.
- Clearly present ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
- Work with diverse internal stakeholders to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and best-practice standards.
- Publish and manage video and social content, using analytics to optimize engagement and performance.
What we look for:
Required
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a producer in a creative agency or production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Demonstrated experience with on-set production and post-production.
- A portfolio of previous video production work to showcase experience and creativity.
- Interest in and aptitude for producing creative and marketing solutions.
- Well-versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Deep understanding of media and analytics related to video and social content.
- Experience managing content publishing and customer engagement.
- Passion for content marketing and social media content.
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset.
- Provides critical evaluation and input on the aesthetic for campaigns and projects, ensuring creativity alongside conformity to Johnson Controls Group design standards.
- Client-facing experience required.
- A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills, with a knack for receiving and implementing constructive criticism.
- Ability to self-manage while managing assigned projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Acute customer focus, ability to work with ambiguity, propensity to balance strategy with tactical execution, strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, values cognitive diversity when leading projects and programs.
- Ability to excel working in a virtual or hybrid, high-growth, matrix-managed, geographically dispersed organization.
- Enthusiasm for respecting, promoting, valuing, and integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in a professional environment.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital or Broadcast production, or a related field.
- Experience in Integrated Marketing.
- Script writing experience.
- An understanding of 3D production.
- Experience in a media or content publishing role is an advantage.
This is a hybrid position at our Glendale, WI office. Requires 2-3 days in office.
