Our Brand Equities are: Casual Glamour, Sunny & Spirited, and Charmingly Disarming.About the PositionThe Senior Associate Technical Designer has a responsibility from concept to production to interpret Design's concept into a technical package with complete information regarding fitting, sizing, grading, garment specifications, and construction. This includes communicating the technical package to the vendors ensuring that all content is correct and updated throughout the product development lifecycle. They must ensure that the product performs in fit, style, and quality standards, according to Lilly Pulitzer ® Brand. They will lead fit sessions and fit garments with support from their manager. They will also provide fit recommendations and solutions to issues. Performance in this position is measured by achieving total company net sales targets, lowering the return rate in the e-commerce full price business, along with contributing to the department and individual goals. A day in the life...Translating the intent of Fashion Design into technical design specification packages (tech packs)Lead fit sessions.Garment construction, Pattern making, Size grade rules.Ability to identify garment construction and fit issues and know how to correct.Technical Flat sketching.Measuring garments with accuracy.Identifies construction and fit issues and communicates with their Technical Design Manager in cases where standards are not met or where deviations are suggested.Evaluate samples to ensure they meet construction, grading/tolerances, and safety standards.The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, as well as adjust to changing priorities and process improvements.Communicates clearly and concisely.Accountable for adhering to all processes, procedures, and standards.Meet all assigned dates in the Lilly Pulitzer® Product Development Calendar Qualifications for the PositionA four-year college degree is required. This must be in fashion design or a closely related subject.At least six years of prior experience in technical design is required. This experience is preferably with a women's fashion branded apparel company. Must have proficiency and comfort in the use of technology to support Technical Design. This includes:The Centric® PLM System. Training will be provided.The Pattern Design System Module of Accumark®. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.The position may require some domestic and international travel.
