Job Description
BryceTech is currently looking for a Communication Specialist. This position will be supporting The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center, known as DEVCOM CBC. This role will develop and disseminate written and digital communications to support government leads.
The Person in this role will:
- Craft clear and concise written materials—articles, newsletters, and announcements—for internal and external audiences.
- Execute social media strategies by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and adapting content based on analytics.
- Maintain and update media contact lists, monitor press coverage, and distribute news alerts to targeted stakeholders.
- Support event planning and execution by coordinating logistics, messaging, and on-site communications.
- Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex research findings into accessible, audience-focused content.
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure consistency in style, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Develop basic infographics and visual aids to enhance readability and audience comprehension.
- Update and manage website content, performing QA testing for accuracy, functionality, and accessibility.
- Track communication metrics and prepare routine performance reports for managers.
- Participate in cross-program working groups to align messaging and optimize outreach impact.
The experience and certification requirements listed below are essential to successfully perform the tasks above:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical, organizational, or public communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems, social media tools, and basic graphic design software.
