Location: Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $65,000 - 75,000 per yearOur client, a leading manufacturer & distributor of industrial equipment in Philadelphia, PA, is hiring a Digital Content Strategist to join their team on a full-time/permanent basis.This role will focus on creating, editing & posting engaging video & photo content across our client's commercial social media channels.Candidates should have experience with shooting and editing videos, photography & photo editing, and social media platform experience.This role is 100% ONSITE, so candidates must be able to work in office five days/week.Responsibilities:Formulate content strategies that align with both short-term and long-term marketing objectives.Work closely with the marketing team to plan and create pertinent content, with a primary focus on social media platforms.Establish and maintain the online presence of the company's brand by crafting compelling content and consistently updating various social media channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok to effectively reach the target audience.Manage the recording, editing, uploading, and overall maintenance of video content on YouTube.Optimize content to ensure alignment with the company's SEO strategy.Employ content management systems to analyze traffic on social media channels and assess user engagement metrics, gauging the success of content marketing initiatives.Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and adjust social media campaign performance as necessary.Conduct industry research to identify relevant topics, creating a focused content roadmap and editorial calendar to keep campaigns on schedule.Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.Actively participate in idea generation and brainstorming sessions with executive and marketing team members.Ensure legal compliance in all published content, including adherence to copyright and data protection regulations.Attend all work conferences (expenses covered) within the calendar year, focusing on social media gathering (limited to the United States).
Experience level: ExperiencedEducation: Bachelors (required)At least 3 years of digital content experience with a proven track record.Adequate (advanced - expert preferred) level of proficiency in the following:Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar photo & video editing software.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).SEM Rush or any similar SEO softwareSocial media platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube.Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics & best practices.Excellent English writing & editing skills.Attention to detail.Ability to learn quickly about the industry and related products.
