Summary of Position
The Community Manager is responsible for helping to build and manage a strong online gaming community for MapleStory. This includes moderating and monitoring all community channels, designing community engagement programs and reporting community issues. The Community Manager also updates Nexon's game websites including generating and publishing web content.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
Represent a voice for the players by providing comprehensive reports on community feedback, issues, concerns and trends to stakeholders in order to address the communities' needsFoster a positive and inclusive environment for our players by constantly monitoring and moderating user generated content within both Nexon-owned (Discord, Nexon forums, Steam forums) and non-Nexon-owned (Reddit) community channels and actively communicating with playersEngage our players by planning and creating unique content (including assets, events, livestreams, videos to be published on our websites and community channels; lead the design and execution of MapleStory community engagement programs with internal teamsDrive community growth by monitoring and reporting on community content and event performance to provide detailed analysis that fosters constant improvement and innovationInform our players about upcoming updates and changes to the game and live services by generating detailed patch notes, live service and issue updates, and maintenance information to be published on our website and community channelsMaintain positive relationships with our community partners, such as fan sites, external forums and community destinations for MapleStory, as well as every volunteer support networkChampion our games internally by consistently stimulating the conversation across all departments regarding Nexon's community strategy, and ensure all departments are working towards developing a clear and healthy relationship with our communitiesOther duties as assignedWork Experience
3 + years of community management experience with proven track record of successProfessional gaming industry experience is requiredDiscord, Forums, and/or community tools experienceLivestreaming experienceProject management and organizational experienceEducation, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
