Title : Senior UI/UX Developer Hybrid Chicago, IL O nsite - 1-2 times a week MUST HAVE A PORTFOLIO Role: Senior UI/UX Developer Duration: 6 + months with extension Location: Chicago, IL ( HYBRID ONSITE ) Interview: Video Client: United Airlines Rate: $ 67 /hr . c2c Top 3 skill sets required for this role: • Modern/accessible/semantic HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, JS (ES6+) • React, Next.js, Node.js • Git, Docker, npm, command-line tools, end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity (preferred) • Responsive, cross-browser web development • Produce work that is fast, responsive, accessible, meets industry standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1), true to sophisticated design specifications, and is cross-compatible with all major browsers, devices, and operating systems. • Develop code that is clean, semantic, well-documented, and efficient. • Implement content and feature updates for ongoing projects. • Flexibly work in different tech stacks - React-based sites as well as landing pages in Sitecore CMS. • Scope and prioritize work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Provide accurate estimates and stay true to timelines and budgets. • Ideate during design stages to create innovative and engaging experiences. • Improve the team's development (and design) standards and showcase new techniques. • Stay up-to-date, and ahead of, industry best practices and techniques. • Collaborate with team leveraging excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communications. Skills/experience • 5+ years of experience (with proven portfolio of work) • BS/BA preferably in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience/training • Modern/accessible/semantic HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, JS (ES6+) • React, Next.js, Node.js • Git, Docker, npm, command-line tools, end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity (preferred) • Responsive, cross-browser web development • Database management (preferred) • Accessibility and SEO concepts • Browser developer tools (e.g., Inspect, Console, Network, etc.) • Web testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack) • ADA testing tools (e.g., WAVE, A11Y, VoiceOver) • VS Code, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Microsoft Office, GitHub Desktop
