Position Summary Seeking talented, experienced stage managers. No professional experience required. Student stage managers enrolled in undergraduate- or graduate-level training will be enthusiastically considered. Must have excellent organizational and leadership skills, a strong understanding of the responsibilities of a stage manager, an interest in educational theatre, and the ability to pass a background check.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participation in all auditions, rehearsals, and performancesManagement and care of the production script, where the stage manager records all blocking and cuesRecord rehearsal notes, line notes, cues, and blockingHelp to maintain order and timeliness during rehearsals and performancesAttend and facilitate production meetings as necessaryDisseminate the rehearsal schedule and rehearsal/performance reports to the cast, producer, and production staffCall all cues during the run of performancesOversee the proper care and management of the stage, rehearsal space, props, costumes, set pieces, stagehands, and any other production elementsIssue calls to the actors prior to and during performances and facilitate communication between the front- and back-of-house staff
Qualifications
Excellent organizational & leadership skillsStrong understanding of stage managementInterest in educational theatrePass Live Scan and Fingerprinting background check

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held on PRS campus (6269 El Fuerte Street, Carlsbad, CA 92009)Time:
Rehearsals are typically held Tuesday thru Friday from 3:15-5:30pmDates:
Auditions:
November 4-8, 2024Rehearsals:
December 3-19, 2024 & January 7-24, 2025Tech Rehearsals:
January 27-30, 2025Dress Rehearsals:
February 3-5, 2025Performances:
February 6-8, 2025
Hourly Rate:
$18/hourTotal Earning Potential:
$3,600
