Provide general admin/office support.
Responsibilities
The Communications Team Office Assistant (CT OA) is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the digital and visual presence of Chapman Grand through strategic communication, branding, and marketing efforts. This position plays a vital role in engaging residents and promoting events, services, and community values.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Social Media Management
Manage and curate content for the official
Chapman Grand Instagram
account Engage with followers to build a positive and interactive digital community Brainstorm creative and strategic ways to increase reach, engagement, and storytelling
Marketing and Content Creation
Design flyers, digital signage, and other marketing materials to promote events, resources, and community updates Assist with filming, editing, and producing video content for social media platforms
Communications and Branding
Write, proofread, and edit copy for digital and print materials Maintain consistency in branding, voice, and messaging across all communication channels Update bulletin boards and contribute to
passive programming
efforts throughout Chapman Grand
Strategy and Research
Conduct research and benchmarking to support communication trends and best practices Contribute ideas for new campaigns and strategies aligned with Residence Life and First Year Experience (RLFYE) goals
Project Management
Monitor and track progress on communication initiatives and campaigns Maintain an up-to-date calendar of communication activities and projects Proactively identify and address communication issues or opportunities
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Instagram
Desired Qualifications Any past social media experience Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
