Job Summary
The Assistant Studio Manager works closely with the Studio Manager to set the tone and model Perspire’s mission, vision, and values. As a key member of the leadership team, this role helps motivate and support team members, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure every guest leaves feeling better than when they arrived.
Assistant Studio Managers are responsible for assisting in four core studio functions:
- Team Management
- Member Management
- Inventory Management
- Facility Management

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Studio Manager to implement daily SOPs, ensuring staff maintain consistency and meet expectations
- Train, coach, and support Membership Sales Associates and Studio Assistants
- Lead by example with a team-first attitude and positive studio culture
- Act as a communication bridge between the Studio Manager and the team
- Relay updates, protocol changes, new offerings, and upcoming events
- Drive strong membership and package sales (measured by conversion % and sales charts)
- Engage with guests and maintain high visibility on the studio floor
- Resolve guest concerns and account issues with empathy and professionalism
- Educate guests on the science and benefits of infrared sauna, chromotherapy, and Red Light therapy
- Ensure front desk systems and studio operations are followed, including check-ins, calls, consent forms, tours, and Mindbody usage
- Perform and document weekly/monthly inventory orders and facility inspections
Qualifications
- Prior team management experience required
- 2+ years of sales experience; 3+ years in customer service (wellness/spa/fitness preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets
- Calm and resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekends
- Highly reliable, organized, and collaborative
- Passionate about health and wellness
- Mindbody Software experience is a plus
