The Community Relations & Marketing Dept. plays a key role in developing a comprehensive strategy to enhance the visibility of ARC projects across the entire territory. We aim to reach a broad audience by using eye-catching graphics and maintaining consistent messaging on various platforms and communication channels. Our goal is to actively involve supporters, inspiring them to explore the diverse offerings of the ARC Ministry, boosting revenue, business operational effectiveness, and awareness.
In the role of Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement digital/print marketing campaigns that support the organization's strategic priorities to drive deep consumer engagement and outcomes for thrift stores, donations, the ARC Program, and community and corporate partnerships.

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, New Media or similar.
Equivalent work experience may be considered.
3-5 years of work experience in either Marketing, Social Media or related field.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Graphics programs including Photoshop and InDesign.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel or twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.

Possesses a keen eye and deep knowledge of design principles and the ability to develop clear and compelling deliverables.
Ensures the maintenance of the right voice and high-quality content across all messaging channels.
Manages online campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels, including email, display, paid search, social media, and new media.
Develops creative and project briefs, coordinating messaging and campaign content.
Creates and oversees campaign-level budgets, ensuring the efficient use of funds to achieve goals.
Works on budget management, timing, tracking, testing of initiatives, and reaching targets.
Ensures proper tracking for testing and provides performance read-outs with recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyzes and reports on campaign performance monthly, identifying trends and opportunities for improvements.
Works to improve conversion processes and suggests other enhancements to facilitate maximum engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with Public Relations & Marketing Director to craft a Digital Marketing Strategy, KPIs, and roadmap to grow website traffic, customer engagement, and conversions.
Manage and oversee all social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) for The Salvation Army ARCC and ARCs in the Western Territory.
Develop and implement a monthly editorial and visual calendar across relevant channels, presenting social media plans to the supervisor monthly.
Identify key dates and events for targeted programming and offerings.
Define marketing campaign strategies and objectives for print and online promotions, aligned with overall business goals and digital goals, guiding content creation for all assets.
Write and curate copy for all posts/stories in alignment with the voice of The Salvation Army.
Execute social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
Create and edit short video content for digital and social pages; audio spots for in-store commercials.
Manage the social media advertising budget effectively and provide monthly analytics to demonstrate channel growth.
Define KPIs, track post performance and engagement, and handle all community management, responding professionally to online inquiries and engaging with mentions or tags.
Work with influencers and content creators to support creating video content and content to be used across digital channels. Manage weekly communications, schedules, and reviews with creators.
Generate engaging content and content ideas aligned with current trends, demonstrating a keen eye for design, technical skill, and knowledge of trends.
Ideate and execute digital partnerships and collaborations with like-minded brands.
Support the department with email marketing initiatives and web updates as needed.
Create design assets for ARC/ARCC events, such as flyers, programs, PowerPoint presentations, and promotional merchandise, and support each ARCC department and local ARC with creative assets and deliverables as needed.
Regularly meet with key stakeholders to ensure current and accurate content.
Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
