1881 Pierce St, Lakewood, CO 80214 - This position is currently tasked with performing work duties via flex-place (aka telework, work-from home arrangements) with as needed on-site visits with clients.

Description of Job
department within the Lottery Division is responsible for supporting over $800 million in Lottery ticket sales a year through producing the right products (mix, price and payouts), advertising these products to generate demand, obtaining help from proceeds partners to recognize the work accomplished with the help of Lottery funds, and maintaining a high favorability rating with the public of the Lottery as well as supporting responsible gaming and increasing the conservation message to residents of Colorado. The Lottery has returned over 4 billion dollars to the State of Colorado.
We're hiring an excellent relationship builder with retail knowledge to be our
at the Lottery! Your savviness with technology will ensure you learn Lottery specific software and programs quickly and be able to collaborate with vendors and Lottery staff for successful promotions. Use your excellent writing skills to produce reports, emails and updates for various stakeholders and your interpersonal skills to collaborate with retailers and Lottery Sales Representatives on new and ongoing promotions. Knowledge of the retail industry, ability to manage budgets and maintain relationships, and track workload will be key to your success. Primary Duties :
Develops, creates, executes, manages and tracks all consumer and retailer promotions.Provides feedback and recommends ideas to improve overall promotions, and supporting retail operations and media promotions.Tracks and provides quarterly reports for promotional Scratch and Jackpot game tickets that the sales team has used and provide regular updates and budget tracking.Works with vendors and sales to create a promotion and have it tested in Lottery operations.Communicates all promotions with appropriate groups and the corporate accounts team via calendars, emails and other communication channels.Works with the advertising agency to guide development of promotional pieces and with the sales coordinator to create flyers in a timely manner.Works with website and digital manager to create and design ongoing digital promotions for MyLottery, including planning and creating a calendar.Develops procedures, processes, and checklists that will enable Lottery personnel and contractors involved in promotions to have all the materials needed for all promotions.Manages all promotional item ordering for the Colorado Lottery.Supports the claims team for their in-person and online promotional outreach to increase sales and customer interaction, including crafting ideas and schedules for new promotions to be run at claims centers.This position will report monthly to the Lakewood office and weekly to any Lottery location or warehouse.Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must meet one of the following or any combination of experience/education to meet the qualifications:
7 years of experience in a sales and/or promotions position which may include working with retailers and/or creating or managing promotions for products.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.AND3 years of professional experience in a sales and/or promotions position which may include working with retailers and/or creating or managing promotions for products.
OPTION 3 :
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
