In close collaboration with the Corporate Communications team in NJ, the Assoc. Director Corporate Communications will be primarily responsible for social media channel management that propels the corporate brand forward showing measurable results of brand interest/consideration and driving advocacy for the corporate brand via interesting and relevant content.
This individual will work closely with the VP Corporate Communications to create and develop corporate content and execute the overall communications social media strategy for the organization. This includes but is not limited to cross departmental support and social media management targeting multiple stakeholders including employees, media, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, patients and caregivers. In addition, this individual will lead digital activities in support of global marketing teams supporting development of their digital footprints, including design, digital guidelines, policy and any training as appropriate and/or required.

Responsibilites:Contribute to the development and execution of PTC global digital strategy, in accordance with strategic goals, budgets and timelinesCollaborate with brand teams and country /regional teams to drive integration of digital strategyManage execution of digital projects & campaignsCreative content development and interactive design (digital materials/collaterals and communication content (based on needs)), creation of a 'Digital Content Hub' (content, assets and resources)Monitor, review and report on digital measurements, communicate progress and adapt strategy and plans based on new developmentsWork closely with agencies and vendors to deliver effective digital services and solutionsDevelop new ways to deliver campaigns and experiences to our target audiences and be on top of the newest social media trendsAt ease with monitoring tools to analyze data. Able to provide regular performance breakdowns for measuring and trackingChair and host the digital working group to support internal alignment, best practice sharing, use of internal assets & resources, communication and planning of future campaigns & activitiesAbility to jump on other ad-hoc digital projects which can include anything from the development of apps, websites, film creation, slide creationBuild and grow relationships, maintain continuing collaborations with well-known & potential influencers in line with corporate and brand strategyBuild and leverage partnerships with stakeholders (i.e., medical societies / PAGs, other) to support & broadcast PTC's digital content and communications plansPerforms other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by managementQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate and/or internal communications in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment.* Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates required.
Experience supporting a large department/team in a dynamic, multicultural, international and fast-paced environment.Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts visually and verballyStrong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/social mediaSelf-starter, detailed-oriented individual with a proven track record implementing social media campaigns, working on global initiatives and working in cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to accurately, efficiently and effectively manage multiple calendars, and special projects.Demonstrated proficiency using the advanced functionality of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word) and Adobe Suite products, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Flexibility to work outside of core business hours when necessary.Experience working in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment.Travel requirements - 0-10%
