The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in change management, business process development, and performance measurement, along with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with government and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Provide editorial guidance and strategic direction for high-visibility projects involving change management, business process re-engineering, and performance metrics. Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery within established timeframes and resource constraints. Review and assess documentation, workflows, and procedures for compliance with federal regulations, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards. Ensure consistency of language and tone across business process documentation and related materials. Apply quality assurance best practices to all written deliverables, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and clarity. Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content. Success Factors / Required Skills Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proven expertise in quality assurance within a technical or process documentation environment. Strong understanding of business process modeling principles and tools. Proficient in iGrafx Business Process Modeling (BPM) software. Skilled in Microsoft SharePoint and its suite of tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams and senior leadership. Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or similar federal agency projects is highly desirable. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in a technical editing or documentation role.
