As a midlevel UX Researcher you'll be contributing to the development of our digital products. Working with Product and Engineering partners and UX Design colleagues, you'll be applying your skills and experience to generate and leverage a variety of research methods, testing, metrics and insights to ensure design and product direction is based firmly on solid a foundation of research.
ResponsibilitiesWork on a wide variety of research including user interviews, co-creation, journey mapping, usability and concept tests and surveys, ensuring that actionable results are delivered and sharedExecute research studies that follow research best practices and methodologiesShare research results and recommendations with stakeholder teams and the wider organizationHelp to define relevant metrics for benchmarking and measurement of journeysCombine multiple research methods to create a deep understanding of client journeysBring fresh ideas and thinking to how research best practices can be embedded within the teamCollaborate with other researcher and designers to identify new tools and/or process improvements that improve day-to-day activitiesApply a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback.Work closely with UX Designers to ensure they have all the details they need to generate detailed UX designs.Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and toolsParticipate in the wider UX community of practice.
Required Skills, Experience and Competencies3+ years of relevant UX Research experience3+ years hands-on experience of qualitative and quantitative UX research in a product design environment across the Design Thinking stagesFamiliarity with research tools e.g UserZoom, UserTesting.com, Dovetail, EnjoyHQ, QualtricsExperience in conducting generative and evaluative user researchAbility to facilitate workshops relating to UX Research both in-person & remoteCreative problem solver, with a "self-starter" approachAble to move between strategic thinking with pragmatism, being mindful of qualityProactive and positive attitude, with strong attention to detail & analytical skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsSome experience working with senior stakeholders and engineersExperience with Agile Methodology is a plusExperience in e-commerce/Internet/mobile space is a plusFinancial service industry and commercial banking experience is a plusBachelor's/University degree
