Overview
Supporting parts manufacture: Working with internal/external partners to support part fabrication and complex custom sub assembly
Assembly of robot: Hands on work in the lab constructing sub-assemblies to full system level robot prototypes
Failure analysis: Build subsystem test fixtures, design tests, create test plans, perform tests, measure and analyze data, and refine design assumptions
Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver technical solutions
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineering and with experience in Machine Design or Electrical component development
BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience designing electromechanical assemblies (robotics, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation)
Experience with SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX or similar CAD tools
Experience with prototyping processes and materials
Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols
Experience in tolerance analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Experience with simulation tools conducting finite element analysis: structural and modal.
Familiarity with traditional mass production manufacturing processes, including injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal.
Experience in Robotics and consumer electronic product design.
Experience in power electronics and battery management programming.
3+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering and with experience in Machine Design.
Experience with automation equipment design and custom machine builds.
Public Compensation: $139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
