What you will be doing:
Responsible for the creation and production of design concepts and artwork for packaging, owner's manuals, collateral print, digital and online assets in a Mac based Creative Services Department.
Follow and maintain brand guidelines and design standards to ensure a consistent visual identity across different platforms and media channels within each brandMaintain and coordinate our cloud-based smart server/DAM, following established processesCollaborate with team members on creative ideasProofread and check artwork for good composition and typographyChoose photos for various design projects, using creativity and good design judgment, and assist in-house photo shootsPhotograph and illustrate productsfor owner's manualsFormat graphics and photos for print and online assets, including color retouching of various subjectsBuild 3D rendering requests and provide feedback to outside vendorsSkills needed to be successful in this role:
Work in a cross functional environment, participate in brainstorming sessions, team meetings, presentations, and provide input and creative suggestionsTake direction from Senior Designers, Assistant Art Director, and Creative Director in crafting and implementing design standards for various projectsExcellent communication skills and ability to work seamlessly with project managersHandle multiple projects, take ownership of projects, project deadlines and remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentMinimum Qualifications:
Design degree and or equivalent5+ years of experience completing graphic design at an in-house studio, agency, or corporate design departmentExperience in Mac-based Adobe Creative Cloud; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and AcrobatProven experience with basic photographyAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe After Effects, Premiere and DimensionDigital experienceExperience designing for Prestige Beauty companies and products
