Haskell’s Design & Consulting Team unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. Our diverse team serves clients with various project delivery methods, including design-build, engineer-procure-construct, fee-for-service, or consulting services. These services help us build strong relationships with clients, supporting their growth and addressing industry challenges.
As a team member, you'll work on impactful projects that challenge your creativity, foster innovation, and expand your skill set.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Design Project Managers and Project Architects to develop detailed architectural specifications.
- Leading specification efforts across architectural disciplines, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Conducting specification kick-off meetings and coordinating ongoing discussions with project teams.
- Researching and integrating new materials, products, and systems into project specifications.
- Mentoring team members in specification development, promoting best practices and standards.
- Contributing to Haskell’s Specification Council to enhance industry practices.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience producing architectural design documents, focusing on specification writing.
- Proficiency in specification software such as MasterSpec, SpecLink, or SpecsIntact.
- CCS or CDT certification preferred; active membership in CSI is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to visit various locations, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or carry light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are necessary for operating equipment, reading, and using a keyboard. The role involves sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing regularly.
