Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. We collaborate closely with each other and with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for the people who use them, and for Google’s businesses. As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use. In this role, you will focus on improving how advertisers use their own data within the Google Ads system. You will help them measure the return on their investment while navigating new privacy regulations. We are a group who define the user experience for the Google Marketing Platform and the broader Google ads ecosystem. Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. Responsibilities Drive the design process from immersion, ideation, exploration, to execution, delivery, and launch. Work with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities, solve problems, and advocate on behalf of the users. Develop system maps, user journeys, conceptual models, mockups, and prototypes to communicate, test, and evolve design ideas. Foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and impact for the team and partners. Lead holistic thinking across products and platforms. Refine and evolve processes, methods and tools.
