As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading and supporting the creation and execution of marketing strategies across diverse business segments. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns for dental insurance, aimed at acquiring new customers, retaining existing members, and enhancing product marketing efforts. Additional responsibilities include planning, organizing, and managing medium to complex projects. As well as will develop and execute comprehensive project plans that embrace best practices, including but not limited to scope and risk management, change management, quality management, effective communication plans, requirements management, and securing all necessary resources needed to achieve the project objectives.
Manages segment and marketing program plans to support company efforts to increase new sales and retentionManages marketing and communication efforts aimed at customers and enrolleesWorks with Creative Services, Marketing, Legal/Compliance and/or outside agencies to update and/or develop marketing collateral and enrollee documents as neededResponsible for maintenance of marketing collateral and enrollee documentsCollaborates with internal cross-functional partners including Underwriting, Actuarial, Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance and Technology; and external partners including customers, distribution partners, advertising agencies and print, mail house and fulfillment vendors.Develops program specific tracking information and analyzes resultsSupports segment portfolio strategy, marketing tactics and maintenance activitiesSupports the development of strategic plans by compiling and analyzing internal and/or external dataResearches, resolves or compiles information to support customer service and partner requestsCoordinates training and communications with internal and external cross-functional partners to ensure seamless program updates and roll out to field.Monitors and reports to management on performance and ROI of marketing programs to ensure that they meet program and financial objectives and presents recommendations for improvements.Plans, documents and executes all phases of the project life-cycle, including scope management, cost management, resource management, requirements management, work breakdown schedule and timeline management, priority and dependency management, project integration planning, vendor management, and the assignment of roles and responsibilities.Conducts and facilitates effective project meetings, including issue tracking, status reports, and executive communications.Defines and measures project milestones, effectively prioritizing deliverables and managing cross-project dependencies to meet delivery goals.Evaluates project plan, coordinates project activity, and identifies change initiatives required for successful project executionThis list is not all-inclusive and you are expected to perform other duties as requested or assignedQUALIFICATIONS
2+ w/Bachelor's degree2 years experience in a corporate marketing department or agency preferredExperience leading or supporting development and implementation of marketing strategy, tactics and approaches including direct marketing, digital and web/on-line.Excellent verbal and written communication including strong composition, editing and proofreading skills.Ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communicator and creative thinker.Detail oriented.Ability to manage multiple projects, be flexible and work with ambiguity.Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency.Advanced verbal and written communications skills, including presentations.Proficiency in computer programs such as Adobe Suite, and publishing applications.Healthcare or dental industry experience preferred.Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $55,000 - $116,900
