Overview
The County of Volusia is seeking a Library Assistant for the Deltona Regional Library. This position is in the circulation section, assisting the public at the checkout desk, checking in materials, processing new materials, managing patron reservations, and collection management in the stacks.
Library Assistant: Responsible for paraprofessional work such as maintaining library records, assisting patrons, and handling cash. Requires knowledge of basic library service techniques and the ability to apply these techniques to a specialized area of the library system.
Note: Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends.
