About Bold+Beyond

Bold+Beyond is a growing consulting and digital agency in search of an experienced WordPress and Shopify Developer. We’re looking for someone interested in working with talented team members, exciting clients, and growing a Shopify practice.

We work on both domestic and global projects with merchants across Consumer Electronics, Outdoors, Fashion, Beauty, and CPG. We’re looking for someone that shares the same values, wants to be a part of something that is growing, and loves bringing award-winning user experiences to life for customers. We want to design and build beautiful, technically sound websites. Location: Remote – Los Angeles a plus

Hours: Full-Time or Contractor

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Joining our resident Shopify Plus and WordPress expert team
• Working with UX and designers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences
• Building out custom Shopify or WordPress themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project
• Working with Project Management to scope new functionality requests and supporting Sales to scope new projects
• Intense passion and strong desire to be successful in the field of web development or programming
• Ability to move between customer projects, understand business needs that drive features, and be consultative throughout

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience working within the WordPress platform, PHP, the WordPress API, or WP GraphQL is a plus
• Minimum of 2+ years experience working within the Shopify Plus platform, and Liquid templating language
• 3+ years working with modern technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 experience
• 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX as necessary, ES2015 + Babel/Webpack
• Experience working with CSS pre-processors like Sass or Less
• Experience working with frameworks such as Vue, React, Nuxt, or Next.js
• Experience working with front-end animation libraries like GSAP, Tween, or animejs
• Experience working with the Pug/Jade templating syntax is a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or similar field
• Superb troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Always wanting to push the boundaries of what is possible to create impactful web experiences
