Position Summary

This position is responsible for helping lead a small team of developers in a client facing, fast-paced agency environment. This person will drive best practices, refine processes, and pursue technical growth to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Mentor and support junior and entry developers to build team capabilities, confidence, and efficiency.
• Lead applicable client communication, explaining technical solutions, processes, functionality, troubleshooting, and providing training as needed.
• Drive development of internal tools, processes, and best practices.
  
  
  

Technical

• Develop and maintain high-performing, custom WordPress, HubSpot, and other CMS-based websites and landing pages using advanced template plugins and custom code (PHP, CSS [SASS], HTML, jQuery, Hubl, JavaScript).
• Code custom responsive emails (MJML) on various platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership, Account Managers, and Designers to strategize and execute client-centric web-based projects with an emphasis on UI/UX excellence.
• Review, test, and optimize responsive emails for various platforms.
• Lead efforts to troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimize existing websites.
  
  
  

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in mentorship or leadership roles preferred with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of web programming languages (Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS Preprocessors, PHP, React, HubSpot).
• Proficiency in WordPress and HubSpot development (including plugin-based builders and custom themes).
• Experience with advanced source control workflows.
• Experience with ASP.NET, Visual Basic, MJML, source control.
• Adobe XD, InDesign and Figma experience.
• Confident in a Mac based environment and knowledgeable in Windows.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple client projects. Agency experience is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role with 4 to 6 years’ experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

• The majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Travel to visit clients or conferences a possibility.
• Standard office hours for the business are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
• Office based employees are expected to work 4 days in office and may work from home one day a week after 3 months of employment.
• Remote based employees may have intermittent travel to the Augusta office location based on business need.
