Syntelligent is currently seeking a TS/SCI cleared full-timeTechnical Editorto support our intelligence customer located at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, DC !

Shift:No

Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency. Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields. Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text. Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance. Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community (IC)
• 3+ years of experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization
• Ability to proofread, edit, correct text for style and accuracy
• Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements
• Ability to prepare intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarity
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph exam
• HS diploma or GED

• Experience with producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing production of analysis products
• Experience working on the Middle East and Africa regions
• Possession of excellent organizational and analytic skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
