My client is currently seeking a UI Lead to join their team and help staff and build UI from scratch. This candidate will be responsible for helping staff and lead 2 to 3 front end developers. Client needs a “captain of the team” who will be very hands-on, leading by example and giving direction when needed. The candidate will architect, design, and help develop a high-performance UI for a real-time trading system.Day to Day Responsibilities:FLCD of web systems and applications from idea to design to implementation to release.Design, development, analysis, research, and planning of systems, applications, and APIs.Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Required Experience:7+ years of overall development experience.Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
