We're looking for a highly collaborative Senior Visual Designer to join our Strategic Communications team where you can share your passion for great brand storytelling and design excellence. As a Lead Visual Designer for Walmart Commerce Technologies , you'll uphold and extend the brand identity across various experiences, delving into brand design and systems across digital, print, and video applications. Your work will help conceptualize the innovative technologies that have scaled across Walmart globally and are now available for retailers to leverage through our B2B offerings. This position will report to the Sr. Design Manager.
About the Team
The Strategic Communications team is part of the Walmart Global Technology organization. We're a team of visual designers, motion designers, copywriters, technical writers, and UX writers who work on everything from crafting engaging communications on our organization's strategy to shaping end-to-end experiences for our customers and associates.
What you'll doWork closely with designers, copywriters, product managers, marketers, and other cross-functional partners to evolve brand design systems and to help create engaging experiences for our prospects, partners, customers, and associatesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to help shape the evolution of the brands, voice, and strategyHelp define, evolve, and document flexible design systems in our internal/external communications and productsDesign webpages, email campaigns, marketing collateral, environmental graphics, display ads, social, and applicationsCreate captivating and professionally branded presentations so that leadership, sales, partners, and product owners can effectively present ideas and productsElevate and bring a level of polish across the designs we develop for our customers and associates by creating intuitive and delightful deliverables in a variety of channelsInspire, create, and sustain a culture of excellence by helping to develop, guide best practices, and design processes that enable agility and support smooth cross-functional collaborationWhat you'll bring
Have 6+ years as a designer (either working for in-house creative teams or agencies)Have a design portfolio with brand, product, web design, and illustration work showing projects you've worked on and ledHave a demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, quickly adapt to changes, manage your time, and prioritize your work in a fast-paced environmentAre humble, and respectful, and value team success over personal successHave the ability to accept feedback and refine your own work with limited supervisionHave a can-do, get-it-done attitudeHave demonstrated experience creating and upholding brand design systems across platformsAre fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint and Word)Are a self-motivated problem-solver who can manage to work on multiple projects at once.Are incredibly detail-oriented, but also able to think big picture and strategyAre a natural collaborator and strong communicator (both written and verbal) who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable sharing work early and frequently, and can inspire while articulating design decisions to peers and key stakeholdersHave experience partnering cross-functionally from kick-off to final delivery

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock equity incentives

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
