Sayers.The HarperCollins Summer Internship Program is a paid 10 week program which runs from June 3 through August 8. All interns work Monday through Thursday, for a total of 28 hours per week (Monday-Thursday, 9-5). As a HarperCollins intern, you will learn about the entire publishing process - following one book from beginning to end while hearing from the people who worked on it in our weekly lunch and learn series. You will work on a publishing project throughout the summer with your fellow interns and have the opportunity to present your findings to senior staff. There are plenty of opportunities to network, and the end of the program culminates with a presentation called How to Get a Job in Publishing offering advice on your resume, cover letter, interview, and networking. Smith_ManagingEditorialInternship.pdfResponsibilities:Researches influencers and social media accounts for key campaign outreach, particularly across Bookstagram and BookTok.Creates engaging posts for our imprints official social media channels, taking quality photos. writing dynamic copy, and keeping abreast of trends.Reviews NetGalley and Edelweiss e-galley requests, approving or declining, as appropriate.Coordinates mailings to booksellers and social media influencers.Prepares materials for key weekly and seasonal marketing meetings.Provides general administrative assistance including ordering galleys, e-galleys, and promotional items.Provides support on marketing campaigns as directed.Writes copy for marketing letters, newsletters, sell sheets, and other marketing materials as needed.Writes ad copy for select advertising materials including, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.Qualifications:
