The costume designer will facilitate all costume needs for (1) musical and (2) non-musicals.
Collaborate with the director on the show's aesthetics and specific costume needs inherent to the artistic vision.Build and/or rent costumes for each production working within the designated budget.Work with students to ensure their costume fits well & makes them comfortable/confident.Be on-site for actor measurements, costume fittings, and all dress rehearsals.Work with the technical director and stage crew students to organize and maintain the school's costume inventory.Provide interested students with instruction on the basics of garment construction, tailoring, and costume design.Production performance dates: Early October; Mid-February: Late April
