Lead Tool and Die Designer (Forging/Steel)Reports to:
Plant ManagerShift:
1st 8:00AM - 4:30PMSalary:
$80,000 - $100,000Our Client:Our client is a custom manufacturer of forged, machined, and fully assembled products. Our client successfully handles complex projects from cradle to grave. The collaboration of engineering, manufacturing, and top-notch quality standards provide customers with exemplary manufacturing solutions and premium products.Lead Tool and Die Designer Responsibilities:Working, hands-on position
Design and develop dies and fixtures for production
Schedule and oversee production of Tool and Die makers/designers
Monitor efficiency of Tool and Die makers/designers
Establish benchmarks and goals for the department
Ensure schedules are met
Lead Tool and Die Designer Qualifications:3-5 years’ experience in a design/engineering role required.
3-5 years experience in a lead or supervisor role is highly desired.
Experience in steel, forging, or stamping preferred
Blueprint reading required.
Proficient in CAD/CAM and Solidworks required
Machining and CNC programming background required
Reporting Relationships:In this position, you will report to the Plant Manager providing regular updates and insights.What We Offer:Competitive salary
