Description Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to join their team in Columbia, MD. They offer cutting-edge engineering solutions for communication companies, wireless carriers, and tower owners nationwide. They have expanded their traditional customer base in the local market and are looking to backfill their current Telecommunications PM position locally. This is an engineering position with project management duties. Candidates should have an in-depth background in A&E engineering, including design review (AutoCAD Civil 3D), drafting, MACRO rooftop sites, structural engineering, structural analysis, TELCO D markings, deliverables, project plans, job setup, costs, labor, BOM, MOP, SOW, RFPs, PNL, etc. Day-to-day responsibilities can include, but are not limited to: Managing projects and clients as the primary point of contact. Reviewing advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy. Ensuring quality control/quality assurance on all assigned projects. Participating in proposal formulation and coordination, along with marketing and business development support. Identifying and developing opportunities with existing and potential clients. Negotiating scope changes with clients related to project budgets and schedules, with supervisor approval. Meeting productivity and financial goals, including profit, unbilled, accounts receivable, and directing project invoicing. Managing up to 4 direct reports. This hybrid position requires 2 days in the Columbia office and 3 days remote, with about 90% in-office work and 10% field visits, including travel within the DMV area. Candidates should be open to business development, sales, professional communication with clients, and travel, which can be via company vehicle or mileage reimbursement. Top Skills: 5+ years of A&E engineering experience, preferably structural, with basic AutoCAD/Civil 3D review skills. 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in telecommunications. Ability to think creatively, communicate effectively with stakeholders, support cross-functional teams, and demonstrate reliability. Pay and Benefits: The salary range is $110,000 - $154,000 per year. Benefits include company-paid medical, dental, vision, paid parental and military leave, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, a 401(k)/Roth with company match, paid time off, bonuses, and overtime pay for billable hours exceeding 40 per week.
