Nesco Resource, 14 plus time winner of the Best in Staffing award, is looking for quality inspectors for a Fortune 500 company on Cleveland's West sideWe are looking for quality inspectors that comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies for company, who can approve and/or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards, and record supplier performance.
Job title: Quality Visual InspectorLocation: Cleveland, OHShift: rotating shift working days or nightsWage: $17.50-$19.50/hour
Duties/Responsibilities:Walk to each department with pallets of products with a sign stating "Inspect".Utilize wheeled cart to bring to each department to inspect
sample boxes.Cut open boxes and visually inspect products to ensure quality standards.Visually inspect pallets to esnure uniformity and correct packaging before being released to shipping.Bring samples from departments on floor to QA inspection room using carts.Communicate with department leads regarding errors found on production line.Creaqte disposition numbers for each quality issue and enter generated numbers into database.Retrieve samples to measure weights.Check to ensure lot numbers are consistent with report logs.
Skills/Qualifications:
Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant roleA keen eye for detail and a results-driven approachResponsible and trustworthyFamiliarity with quality testing machines and systemsAble to walk around plant floor constantly, lift up to 30 lbsand push/pull 5 lbs.Working knowledge of MS OfficeShift/Pay Information
Day shift is 7 am - 7 pm on rotating days (every other weekend required) $17.50/hourNight shift is 7 pm - 7am on rotating days (every other weekend required) $19.50/hourMust be available to train from 7 am-3:30 pm Monday - Friday for two weeks.Temp to Hire opportunity
