Reporting to the Senior Director of EPW Product Marketing with dotted lines to key Product Directors, this role will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing efforts to support the roll out and on-going promotion of Empower's suite of investment products (Premier, Brokerage, etc.) as well as provide marketing support to the Financial Planning team.
What You Will Do
Development of a differentiated go-to-market story and marketing strategies for our Retail products and how they fit into our wealth management continuumPartnering with VOC and customer research to better understand the “jobs to be done” by our various investment productsPartnering with Product to create a persona-based, cohesive retail account opening experienceContent lead for the redesign of our retail web pages and collateralPartnering with Growth and Lifecycle Marketing to provide messaging that will improve awareness and drive customer adoption of and retention within our Retail productsEnsuring end-to-end continuity of messaging across Marketing, Product and Sales collateral for the products they overseeEnhancements to and maintenance of collateral materials that support our Retail productsMarketing support for Empower’s Financial Planning team in the form of collateral, webinar support, website updates, etc.Supports team members, volunteers to help; shows initiative and positively impacts team dynamics and morale.Proactive, self-starter who is adaptable and flexible to a dynamic business environment.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or relevant field required.Master’s Degree in business or marketing preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in a B2C marketing environmentExperience with applying best practicesExperience working with creative agencies on the client side – including writing strong creative briefs, clearly articulating business goals and customer insights that can inform creative strategy and partnering effectively with agency account management to support efficient and timely delivery of a portfolio of projects.
What Will Set You Apart
Familiarity with consumer financial products including wealth management and retirement services.Strong business acumen – able to understand business metrics & strategy, how marketing can serve as a driver of success, and communicate marketing strategy and results to business leadership.Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of PC environment and high competency in Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to quickly learn other systems/software.Strong partnership skills with an ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop solid working partnerships with peers and colleagues.Self-directed – Can operate with little direction and successfully achieves goals and objectives while in an autonomous environment.Occasional travel possible.

Base Salary Range
$106,700.00 - $150,650.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
