Find Your Mentorship in Entertainment Marketing

The Santa Monica-based Promax BDA Executive Mentorship Program is now accepting applications for its one-year structured mentorship program that matches marketing and creative services executives with managers and directors. However, only 20 matches of qualifying candidates are made, so apply early.

The first deadline is April 15, 2012 for applications, with interviews taking place between April 15 and April 30. Mentorships kick off in June. The mentor and mentee have a curriculum to follow and meet once per month.

Among the goals of the program are to match each manager and director with VPs, SVPs and EVPs from the marketing and creative service area and build inroads for diverse professionals and the marketing space. Click here for more info or to apply.

Across the industry and beyond, experts say that mentoring is one way of better training and recruiting talent. And while this is a formal program, an informal agreement between an experienced exec and someone just starting out can be effective as well.
