Position Summary
Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation seeks a temporary, part-time
Digital Marketing Assistant
to assist with Ailey's email marketing efforts and the day-to-day management of alvinailey.org. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and work with other key members of the Marketing, Development, and Special Events departments.
Essential Job ResponsibilitiesDesign promotional, fundraising, and engagement-type email campaignsManage target lists and segmentationAid in the creation of new customer journeys and automationsAssist with email campaign performance & ad hoc website reportingAssist with lead generation campaign design and strategyProvide support with regular site content updates, new webpage creation, and blogpost webpage designHelp to improve SEO on the main site as well as all other micrositesCreate opportunities for A/B testingMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and/or a minimum of one year working in email marketing, CMS management, and general office experience (can include internship experience)Basic knowledge of HTML/CSSWorking knowledge of Drupal, Wordpress, or another comparable CMSWorking knowledge of Pardot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or another comparable marketing automation platformExperience using Microsoft Office products, specifically working knowledge of Excel formulasStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA basic understanding of SEO best practicesInterest in email marketing and web design/managementFamiliarity with, and a passion for, arts, dance, and/or working for a non-profit organizationSchedule
This position is a part-time temporary role with flexible hours, max 20 per week, ending August 30, 2024This position will be fully remote, with the option of a hybrid work schedule onsite in the New York City officeCompensation:
$25 per hour
