About the role:
This Network Engineer is responsible for activities related to the installation, management, and maintenance of the video network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will maintain network availability, reliability and performance that conform to all service level agreements. This position will analyze and resolve complex network related problems, and analyze and test all elements of the network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will implement network solutions based on business requirements. This position requires technical knowledge and experience in video backbone traffic, monitoring, security, backup, recovery, and maintaining data centers. She/He/They will analyze trends and assist in the designing and development of network plans. This position will also interface with vendors to learn about new data communications, technology, and system upgrades.
Responsibilities/Requirements:Evaluates, tests, and implements specific network solutionsManage assigned network related tasks for projectsPerform engineering & technical support for internal and external networks, both physical and virtualProvide hands-on support, maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of all network infrastructure including physical cable plant and associated equipmentComplies with all standard internal controls and processesAssist the Senior Network Engineer with network infrastructure vendor management including Licensure, SLAs/RMAs and product lifecycle managementManages various ISP connections (DIA, PTP, Cross-Connects, ect..) and the vendor relationships associated to these types of connectionsEnsures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to gain the greatest efficienciesPerforms the installation of data communication lines, networking and security equipmentCapacity management and forecasting (including IP space management)Ensure Network Operations Notification and escalation procedures are accurately followedAbility to deliver complex network projects and driving operations excellenceAbility to work in a Linux/Unix environmentExperience in creating software to automate network deployment or operationsExperience in scripting/programming with one or more of Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell, Java, etc.Experience with network management and modeling tools like LibreNMS, Netbox and EVE-NGExperience with AWS and GCP virtual environmentsExperience with documenting installations, including as built and technical documentationExperience with online calibrations software such as ConfluenceExperience with IRRs such as ARINAbility to work in a fast paced and collaborative environmentAbility to prioritize and time manage effectivelyPerform routine maintenances, possibly overnightParticipate in an on-call rotation and act as a subject matter expert for multiple Fubo internal groupsQualifications:
4+ years experience configuring, operating and troubleshooting protocols like OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, BFD, IGMP, MLAG, VRRP/VARP, LACP, IGMP, PIM & Multicast routing4+ years experience with common protocols and concepts like TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, NTP, SNMP, VPN, VLANs, VRFs, 802.1Q Trunking, Remote Authentication, SYSLOG & Anycast routing4+ years of experience with BGP Route Policy and IP Filters/Prefix lists4+ years of experience with routing and switching vendors like, Arista, Cisco, Fortinet, A104+ years of experience securing networks4+ years of experience with network management equipment like Opengear, APC4+ years of experience with Data Centers3+ years of hands-on experience with global internet routing, peering/transit relationships, traffic engineering & troubleshooting3+ years experience with networking details such as flow records, packet captures, and telemetry, and combining information from various sources and tools3+ years experience with planning, documenting, testing, and production rollout of new network features or changes3+ years proven ability to work with minimal supervision on short, medium, and long term projects3+ years collaborating with and mentoring other engineersUnderstanding of backbone video distribution (Peering, Transport, POP sites, etc)Structured cabling experienceUnderstanding of fiber optic cablingUnderstanding of Cat5/6 twisted pair copper wire types and RJ45 connector installation experienceUnderstanding of basic tools, construction practices and communication networksUnderstanding of cable installation practices, dressing cables, lacing, terminations, etc.Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; lift 50 lbsPerks & Benefits:

Fubo's minimum base pay for this role if hired in Colorado is $115,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $144,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO and a full range of medical benefits. Final offer amount will be at the company's sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
