Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate proficiency in pre- and post-award writing, encompassing effective communication before and after grant awards.
Proficiency in crafting clear, persuasive, and well-organized written content for grant proposals.
Conducting thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with ASCE's mission and programs
Familiar with Federal funding regulations and private funding
Staying current on grant guidelines, eligibility criteria, and deadlines
Leading the end-to-end grant proposal development process, including project management, content development, and budget formulation
Convening subject matter experts and collaborating with various departments
Customizing proposals to align with donor interest, priorities, expectations and organizational objectives
Maintaining a comprehensive database of grant opportunities, applications, and outcomes
Assisting in preparing regular reports on grant activities for internal and external stakeholders
Establishing and maintaining meticulous record-keeping systems for effective grant management
Ensuring compliance with grant reporting requirements and deadlines
Ideal candidates will have:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience with specialized knowledge of grant writing
2-4 years of grant writing experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
Demonstrated success in a fundraising deadline driven environment with multiple priorities
