Zayo serves wireless and wireline carriers, media, tech, content, finance, healthcare and other large enterprises.Technicians in the Professional NOC (ProNOC) teams are responsible for providing excellent customer service to Zayo's key customers. The Professional NOC teams (Strategic, PDN, Spread, and Media) deliver specialized services tailored to meet each customer's individual needs. Technicians will prioritize working hand in hand with customers to fully resolve issues and work collaboratively with partners throughout Zayo to ensure customers' expectations are met and that our customers' services are reliable.*We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity (2 days/week in office) out of our Denver, CO & Tulsa, OK offices and are willing to discuss a fully remote work style for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 2 Video and NCC support to the Global Network Operations Center (GNOC).Is able to perform all required work duties in a 24 x 7 work environment.Is able to create, maintain, manage and repair live video broadcasts.Supports the VNCC LAN, WAN and customer networks.Recognizes and suspends any network activity that places the network at risk.Performs troubleshooting and diagnostics techniques to identify problem areas for resolution.Runs video tests, checks processes, and assists with repair coordination activities.Tracks trouble resolutions, provides ticket updates and clear information to customers.Coordinates with technicians, dispatches field technicians to provide maintenance and repair solutions.Can multi-task effectively, prioritizing work needs and follow up for completion.Uses consistent soft skills while interacting with customers; attends customer meetings, and maintains knowledge of customer needs.Provides front-line support on customers problem calls.QualificationsMinimum 4 years of technical knowledge of Video systems, operations and troubleshooting.Experience with Nimbra, Nimbra Node Platforms, Net Insight, Connector and ScheduALL softwareKnowledge of DWDM, ROADM, Wave systems, protected optical systems and operational repair.In depth experience with ticketing systems and databases.Computer, network application and proprietary electronic management skills.Candidate must have four years of applicable experience, an applicable degree and or certifications.Work locations; Remote, Tulsa, OK or Denver, COPreferred QualificationsCisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS or JNCIEBase pay range: $ $25.91 - $34.51, commensurate with experienceBenefits, Rewards & WellnessExcellent Health, Dental & Vision InsuranceRetirement 401(k) Savings PlanFitness membership discountsGenerous paid time off policy including paid parental leaveZayo provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, provincial or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
