David Folkenflik to Talk ‘Murdoch’s World’ On ‘Reliable Sources’

FolkenflikNPR’s David Folkenflik has been a host on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” several times in the past few months. But tomorrow he’ll be a guest on the show talking about his new book “Murdoch’s World.”

A few bits from the book have to come to light this week, including the revelation that FNC PR staffers created online aliases to counter negative comments — or just to stir things up — on media blogs and how they planted false information with a media reporter just to discredit him. That reporter, Matthew Flamm, writes about “that elaborate ruse” here.

Folkenflik says his publisher is in the process of reaching out to Fox News for an interview there. “I’d be open to going on Fox shows to talk about the book,” he tells us. Daily Beast’s John Avlon hosts “Reliable Sources” tomorrow.
