WAGA Gets First Photos of Marathon Bomb

WAGA reporter Dale Russell has obtained the first photos of the bomb that exploded Monday at the finish line of the Boston Marathon (above).

The photos aired on the Atlanta Fox O&O’s 6:30 p.m. newscast Tuesday, just hours after it was first reported that the explosions were caused by pressure cooker bombs. The pictures aired across several other Fox O&Os, as well as on Shepard Smith‘s national Fox News Channel program, Tuesday evening.

WAGA Gets Exclusive Interview With Woman Who Claims a 13-Year Affair with Herman Cain

WAGA, the Fox O&O in Atlanta, aired an exclusive interview tonight with Ginger White, a woman who claims she has been involved in an extramarital affair with GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain for 13 years (watch above).

White sat down with reporter Dale Russell for the interview, which aired in full on the 6 p.m. newscast this evening. “It was pretty simple,” she said. “It wasn’t complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship.”

As news of the WAGA interview was breaking, Cain was making a CNN appearance on “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,” denying WAGA’s report (video after the jump). Read more

In Retaliation for Unflattering Story, Georgia Governor Bans WAGA from Press Event

WAGA reporter Justin Gray was barred from a public bill signing held last week by Georgia Governor Nathan Deal because the governor’s press office was apparently upset over an unflattering story that WAGA ran the night before.

When trying to enter the signing of an immigration bill, Gray was stopped at the door by state troopers. The governor’s press secretary told Gray that he would not be allowed access until the Fox O&O retracts claims it made in an investigative report from Dale Russell. Read more
