We are looking for a colleague to work for for TRT World as a Digital Video Producer position in Washington D.C.
Job Description
- Collaborate with the news and programs department to create digital-friendly content for our online platforms.
- Edit and cut video footage to produce high-quality, compelling digital content.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere and other editing tools to enhance videos with graphics, effects, and transitions.
- Work closely with the digital department to promote TV materials on various digital platforms.
- Generate additional digital content during deployments and breaking news events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative storytelling techniques into digital productions.
- Ensure that digital content meets the company's standards for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the social media team to optimize video content for various platforms.
Qualifications
- BA in journalism, Broadcasting, Digital media or other related social sciences,
- Proven experience as a Video Producer or similar role in a news or broadcasting environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of other editing tools is a plus,
- Strong journalistic background with the ability to tell compelling stories through video,
- Excellent video editing and graphic design skills,
- Fluent in English with strong communication and writing skills,
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing news situations,
- Understanding of digital platforms and social media trends,
- Flexibility to work during breaking news events,
- High level of proficiency in English.
