From the desk of George Ellis, a former copywriter for Leo Burnett, Y&R/Wunderman and McGarrah Jessee comes an infographic for the ages. Admittedly, I’m a huge infographic fan, which is why I get excited every time Mashable or Guy Kawasaki posts a new one. Statistics are boring, but add a few pictures here and there and you have something with excellent bookmark and social media sharing potential.
Ellis proves the old rule that no one knows how to make fun of a copywriter like a copywriter, right down to the ironic mustache, least fabricated awards wins and justification for off-brief concepts (“We were high”). See the full-size infographic after the jump and more of Ellis’ work on his website, The George Report.
