Separated at Birth: Rachel Maddow and Gawker’s Alex Pareene

Morning all. Nursing some kind of stomach illness has its perks &#151 namely skipping the commute through NYC walking traffic. That was yesterday. Today we’re perked up (heh) by the possibility that Gawker Editor Alex Pareene (aka Pareene) and newly minted MSNBC on-air talent Rachel Maddow were separated at birth.

We noticed the similarity while reading up on today’s news (non-ad-related, sorry) that Gawker editors will now have to rotate weekend shifts, oh and won’t be paid by the page view. Ouch.
