OVERVIEW
L’Objet is searching for a Web Master / Social Media Specialist with a luxury background and creative sensibilities to maintain our online presence. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment and will include the following:
- This person will work under the creative and marketing teams to assist in mapping out seasonal plans for various online initiatives and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales team on marketing ideation to boost our online presence (ex: plan sales incentives to gain more facebook followers, etc).
- Curate images and generate compelling copy for ongoing social media postings and campaigns.
- Establish a consistent voice and verbiage throughout the e-commerce section of L’Objet’s website.
- Consistently manage and update L’Objet’s website with seasonal product introductions.
- Manage our website search engine optimization (work with our external web developer to overhaul our SEO and keywords during the redesign of our website).
- Analyze metrics to improve social awareness (click-throughs, analytics, keywords, etc.).
SKILLS
- 2-4 years of experience in authoring and implementing content and strategic plans online with a smart, sophisticated, and luxury point-of-view. Marketing experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Well versed in current and upcoming web and social media languages, tools, and trends.
- Highly knowledgeable in SEO and analyzing metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel), Adobe Creative Suite Basics (Photoshop, InDesign) and willing to learn L’Objet’s website content management system and online image bank.
- Superb writing and proofreading skills.
