AllTwitterLister: 6 More Twitter Lists To Subscribe To

Twitter lists are one of the most powerful features of Twitter, enabling users to slice and dice the thousands of people they follow into digestible mini-directories.

You can create your own lists – either public or private – or capitalize on other tweeps’ listwork and follow a list they’ve made. Twitter lists are under-utilized in general, but specifically so in terms of finding and following others’ well-curated lists that could save you time in your Twitter reading and help you form new contacts and leads.

Our AllTwitter post series called AllTwitterLister highlights notable Twitter lists that are worth your click of the “subscribe” button.

Six notable Twitter lists worth subscribing to this week:

· Mashable’s Syria sources: (12 members, 66 subscribers). Mashable has curated a list of Twitter users — some embedded in the country, others covering the conflict from the outside — to follow for reliable information about Syria.

· HuffPostParents’ Parenting Experts: (28 members, 13 subscribers). Turn to the Huffington Post’s selection of parenting experts for all your questions and concerns about your little ones.

· Jeff Sheehan’s Marketing and Social Media Experts: (47 members, 8 subscribers). Atlanta-based marketing pro Jeff Sheehan has a great list of marketing and social media pros with 100K+ followers (think Chris Brogan, Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki).

· Josh Elman’s “Awesome Social”: (137 members, 1,966 subscribers). Josh Elman of Greylock Partners, a leading venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, maintains a list of “builders of the next generation [of] awesome social apps, platforms, and experiences.” Think Paul Berry of RebelMouse, Randi Zuckerberg, and Adam D’Angelo of Quora.
